Algarvacation.com recommends using a car during your stay. Due to the mostly exclusive locations of our rental objects, away from mass-tourism and meant to provide you peace and privacy, a car will help you to a flexible organizing of day trips, shopping, beach- and restaurant visits.

We are able to help you in booking a rental car. For years we have been working together with one and the same car rental company, a very reliable company with a personal service and acceptable all-inclusive prices, which until now has served all our customers to the greatest satisfaction.
Big advantage compared to many other providers – you will be personally welcomed and escorted to your car on the airport car parking lot (where you can also leave your car on the day of departure). You will not have to join endless queues to reach a counter and using a shuttle-service to reach your faraway car(at departure you might have to calculate a lot of extra time for car hand-in and the shuttle-service to reach the airport in time). Under the price list you will find a detailed description of how the service is carried out.

You can choose between 5 different categories. All cars are insured all-risk, with SCDW (no own payment) in case of accident (except cat E, 7 seater model, see below) and have unlimited mileage, no cover for stolen luggage out of the car. So prices mentioned below are end prices without any hidden extras. Even a roof rack and a baby seat (please order in advance!!!) are provided free of charge!
When you would like us to book a car for you, we need all flight details (departure airport, arrival/departure flight numbers, date and time of arrival/departure and destination airport) so staff can welcome you on time. Even in case of an early or late arrival or departure there will be no surprises with these data, because the company always checks the status of your flight on the Internet and will therefore be there for you on time.

Detailed service description

After you come out luggage hall, you’ll be guided automatically into the very long arrival hall, simply straight on until you the sign “meeting point”, immediately after look for the company sign “Algarvacation.com”, you’ll be welcomed personally by a member of staff. Together you will fill in the necessary papers (please don’t forget driving license, driver at least 23 years of age!!) he’ll hand out car papers to you and will escort you to your car on the airport car park (around 100 m away). Here you’ll get the information where to leave your car on departure day (around 100 m from departure terminal). Payment is made after the papers have been completed, either by credit card, cheque or cash.
